RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

In our Recreational Program, children and teens will focus on developing safe and adequate dance technique, while experiencing a fun, enthusiastic and supportive environment. Students learn technique, terminology, performance skills, choreography and everything else that dance provides. Our recreational classes start at age 3.

All of our classes run from September to June. We end our dance year with our annual June recital on stage called “Kaleidoscope” where each class performs a dance.

We offer classes in Pre-School Ballet, R.A.D. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Acro.

PRE-SCHOOL BALLET: Ages 3-4

R.A.D. BALLET: Ages 5+

• Exams are optional for Ballet students
• Ballet students have the opportunity to audition for our Nutcracker production.
• Grade 2 Ballet and above requires two Ballet classes a week

TAP: Ages 5+

HIP HOP: Ages 6+

JAZZ: Ages 7+

• Dancers must take Ballet to be enrolled in Jazz.

ACRO: Ages 8+

CONTEMPORARY: Ages 9+

• Dancers must take Ballet to be enrolled in Contemporary.
